Prof. Anju Singh
IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE)
A distinguished environmental science expert with over two decades in sustainability and climate change. Prof. Singh holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay and has been on the faculty at IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE) since 2003, teaching business sustainability, energy management and ESG. A former NEERI Research Council Member, her research spans environmental sustainability, circular economy and wastewater treatment, with over 200 published papers and work on EU-funded international research projects covering water, carbon, climate change and life-cycle assessment.
Dr. Mayanka Chhonker
De Montfort University (UK)
A Lecturer in Marketing at De Montfort University's School of Leadership, Management and Marketing in Leicester, UK. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from MNIT Jaipur. Her purpose-driven research focuses on digital transformation and sustainable business ecosystems in small enterprise clusters, technology adoption behaviour and sustainable consumption. She advocates for ethical, socially responsive marketing approaches, actively collaborating with communities and global NGOs to bridge strategy, storytelling and sustainability.
Prof. A. B. Gupta
MNIT Jaipur
A distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at MNIT Jaipur, where he previously served as Director. He joined MNIT in 1984 and holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay. His 40-year career focuses on biological waste treatment and environment-health linkages, including low-cost technology for removing fluoride and nitrates from drinking water. He has published over 200 papers, guided 19 PhD scholars, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India).
Dr. Mukand S. Babel
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand
Professor and Director of the Centre for Water and Climate Adaptation (CWCA) at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. With 40 years of experience, his expertise spans water resources management, climate change adaptation, flood and drought analysis, and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. He holds honorary and adjunct professorships at institutions including the University of Exeter (UK), UNU-FLORES (Germany) and IIT Guwahati, and has co-authored over 190 high-impact journal articles.
Ms. Bharti Jasroti
UK PACT Country Officer, ARUP India
An Environment Management professional specialising in climate change mitigation and low-carbon development. As UK PACT Country Officer – India at Arup, she manages climate-focused grant programs under UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions), a UK government programme jointly funded by the FCDO and DESNZ that supports low-carbon development across multiple countries, with Arup as fund manager for India, Thailand and Vietnam. With over seven years of experience at institutions including IIT Delhi, she has led initiatives on resource efficiency and circular economy, and represented India at COP27 and G20.
